I was a member of the Samaritans for over 20 years
I am still a volunteer with the TRiM (Trauma Risk Management) team for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.
I have also been a trade union representative, operating at local, regional and national levels and have had to deal with many workplace issues especially grievances, redundancy, bullying and harassment, capability, competency, discipline hearings and work place stress to name but a few, so I have an understanding of the emotions these events can have on you.
